G3-PLC Alliance in 2018 further expands presence at key industry events worldwide
In the light of successful appearances at leading international events in 2017, G3-PLC Alliance has decided to expand its presence at key conferences and fairs across the globe this year: While the alliance presented itself at five events last year, it will visit seven events in 2018.
As in 2017, the starting point will be the Indian Smart Grid Week (ISGW) from 5th to 9th March 2018 in New Delhi. As a silver sponsor, the G3-PLC Alliance will have its own stand and present its best practices and showcases to India’s leading utilities, investors and Smart Energy Experts and Researchers. In the following month, G3-PLC Alliance will be the main sponsor of the IEEE International Symposium on Power Line Communications and its Applications (ISPLC) 2018 in Manchester from 8th to 11th April. The symposium bringing together worldwide industry and research leaders, has become a widely recognized international platform for the field of powerline communication. The alliance has a keynote speech and a stand at the symposium.
In Shanghai, the alliance will hold its General Assembly, on 17th April 2018. Immediately afterwards, China Utility Week from 18th to 19th April in Shanghai is a wonderful opportunity for smartgrid stakeholders to explore new business perspectives and partners, as well as learn about new technologies in the utility field in China. With an increasing number of chinese members in 2018, the alliance will show a strong presence at the China utility week and have a stand there.
The Sixth International Istanbul Smart Grids and Cities Congress and Fair (ICSG 2018) will be held April 25th through the 26th, 2018, at the Istanbul Congress Center, in Istanbul, Turkey. As a main sponsor of the event, the G3-PLC Alliance will have a stand and key note speeches. Moreover, experts from the Alliance will present the advantages of G3-PLC at African Utility Week from 15th to 17th May 2018 in Cape Town. In winter 2018, the Alliance can be met at the 8th Annual Smart Grid & Smart Meters Summit in Dubai, before the European Utility Week from 6th to 8th November in Vienna marks the final entry in this year's schedule of trade fairs and events.
The organization's appearance will include presentations of certified products and platforms as well as on the certification process. Moreover, members of the Alliance will be guest speakers on key topics.

The G3-PLC Alliance was formed in order to support, promote and implement G3-PLC in smart grid applications. Its members come from the key stakeholders in the smart grid ecosystem. The objectives of the G3-PLC Alliance consortium are to support G3-PLC in internationally recognized standards bodies to achieve the rapid adoption of G3-PLC specification worldwide and to develop a framework for equipment testing to facilitate interoperability among adopters. Moreover, the Alliance educates the market and promotes the value, benefits and applications of G3-PLC.
